PROJECT SALES

Job Summary:  Solar Business development executive role revolves around developing and implementing marketing strategies, communications, and sales enabling techniques to build sales business for the company.

 

Job Description:

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA)

1

To develop Business for Solar Roof top& Ground Mounted project using different modes and achievement of quarterly targets of revenue

2

To understand the requirement of the client, to co-ordinate survey of the site and accordingly generate customized proposal for the client

3

To Prepare technical RFQ for the client and initiate client negotiations in co-ordination with the Technical team

4

To participate in the Tender and bid process organized by various govt. agencies

5

To liaison with different govt. agencies MNRE, IRADA, SECI etc for registrations or as and when required

6

Analyses of procedures/ processes adopted by different states for promoting solar rooftop plants and share the information with management on timely basis

7

Engage in market research and analytics to capture industry trends, project pipeline, potential leads, and direct competitor analysis

8

To create network in the Industry to generate Business, attend various programs, Trade Shows, exhibitions, conferences and other events organized by different agencies and generate enquiries through effective networking.

9

Create social media communication strategy and implement actions to increase brand awareness

10

To resolve client queries related to Technical BOQ generated and proposing the best solution to client, take help of technical team wherever necessary

Close the sales and negotiate Payment terms with the client

13

Documentation and preparation of other relevant contract and agreements

14

To ensure that the work is carried out on the site as per the requirement of client, timely deployment of resources with continuous monitoring

15

Effective transition from Business Development to Engineering department in co-ordination with the senior reporting authority and sign-off on all the design drawings by the client

16

To co-ordinate with the technical team for milestones achievement and follow up with the client for the release of payment

17

To generate daily, weekly, monthly MIS reports to track progress of work and reports as and when required by the management

Other Tasks as may be decided and discussed

     

      

 

 

KRA:

·         Revenue Target Achievement as per the target of the quarter assigned

·         Completion of the project within the committed timeline and ensuring maximum profitability and timely collection of out standings

·         To ensure high level of team co-ordination

 

Job Specifications:

·         4-8 years of experience in project sales of solar roof-top & ground mounted structure in Residential, Commercial and Industrial etc.

·         Should have the ability to effectively communicate (Written, Oral) among all the stakeholders

·         Should have Analytical approach to the complex problems, comfortable with numbers and well versed in MS Office (Excel, Word & Power point)

·         Should possess good knowledge of Industry norms and Statutory Compliance applicable

·         Should possess good knowledge of Technical Specifications

·         Should be self-motivated person who can work independently.

·         Ability to Prioritize multiple tasks and adaptable

·         Effective Team Management skills
